Jazz Friday at the Foosaner Art Museum features Matt Heister Friday, June 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Matt is the popular host of Freedom in the Groove, broadcast Mondays from 10 p.m. till midnight on WFIT, 89.5 FM.
Jazz Friday coincides with the Foosaner Art Museum’s opening reception for Florida Artists From The Permanent Collection which runs June 1 – July 8. Enjoy live jazz with Matt Heister as you view the new exhibit. Matt will be joined by musicians Casey Dodd, Steven Frieder and Richard Dexler.
The entire Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD) will be overflowing with live music, art exhibits and celebration as this Friday, June 1st is also the district's First Friday Art Walk. Nine bands will perform original work from 5 p.m. till 11 p.m. in the Eau Gallie Square. Several galleries will host opening exhibitions.
EGAD Main Street will host an open house from 4:30-7:30 at its new office at 587 W. Eau Gallie Blvd.
