Art & Algorithms a Digital Arts Festival

Titusville, Florida will once again become a Digital Arts Festival, when it showcases Art & Algorithms 4, with interactive digital arts, created spaces for special installations and galleries, an international short films festival and hands-on interactive fun for all ages.

This 4th consecutive year of Art & Algorithms will feature interactive art exhibits (you touch it, you influence the outcome), and will include student work (from the U.S. and the UK), opportunities for artist interactions in special sessions, DIY art options and special family events. Central to the festival’s appeal is the chance for adults, students and younger children to interact with the digital art and with some of the artists who have created it.

The Arboria exhibit, part of the Architects of Air 2016 North American Tour, is a vast world of light and color, an environment that could almost be another planet. That gives you a hint of the fun that crowds enjoy when they step into Arboria and wander the magical halls and galleries within. Inspired by trees, Arboria is a combination of cones and spheres that give rise to luminous tree trunks and brightly shining branches triangulating in the 33 ft. tall Main Dome—one of the largest open space luminaria anywhere.

In an expanded footprint, Digital HQ will be located at Sand Point Park with trams to Downtown.  ‘Galleries’ created specifically to present the digital exhibits, include day and night opportunities for hands-on exploration.  Venues include the iPad Lab, the Virtual Reality Lab and a student filmmakers working lab. Special events and meet-ups will be scheduled throughout the festival footprint.
