Solar Orbiter is a joint NASA/ European Space Agency mission to study the sun. The spacecraft will launch on a ULA Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral on a ten year mission. A two-hour launch window is currently scheduled for Sunday, February 9th at 11:03PM. WFIT's Rick Glasby explains the project in this video.
